Paula Humber, MBA, SHRM-SCP, joins Palm Tran as the Interim Executive Senior Manager of Human Resources. Ms. Humber will work closely with the Palm Tran Executive Leadership Team (ELT) on a temporary basis while recruiting for a replacement for retired Cathy Lewis, former Executive Senior Manager of Human Resources. Ms. Humber will lead Palm Tran’s HR team and also assist in the selection of Cathy’s replacement.

Ms. Humber, of P&L Corporate Solutions, is an accomplished HR professional with more than 20 years of experience in corporate and entrepreneurial human resources and business management. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration at Nova Southeastern University and has acquired a senior level certification to practice human resources from the Society of Human Resource Management.

She began her HR career with luxury homebuilder, WCI Communities where she built a good HR foundation in recruiting and employee relations and a genuine interest in the experience of the employee. For a number of years thereafter, she consulted with small to mid-sized businesses in various stages of maturity to develop and/or sustain a broad scope of Human Resource functions from recruiting to payroll to compensation to employee relations to employee development & training. As an integral part of the HR team at New York Community Bancorp, Inc. (NYCB), she continued her own development by developing and facilitating training curriculums for managers in the areas of recruiting and legal compliance to analyzing and reporting on problematic staffing issues, compensation, attrition and turnover.

Today, Ms. Humber is President and Sr. HR Consultant for West Palm Beach based HR Consulting firm, P&L Corporate Solutions and PL Staffing. P&L provides HR solutions to public and private organizations large and small with a focus on talent acquisitions, employee relations, human resources administration and training and development.
