Veteran Administration
Senior – Any person 65 years or older with a valid driver’s license or Florida State ID card. A Florida State Identification card can be obtained from the Drivers License Bureau.
Student – Age 21 or under. Must show a valid school ID.
Disabled – Medicare Card, Dated Letter (on Doctor’s letterhead) stating 50% or more permanent disability, a Social Security Award Letter stating “disabled individual,” and a valid government-issued photo ID. Fixed-Route buses are equipped with ramps and wheelchair securement devices.
Medicare – Recipient must show their Medicare card to receive a half fare.
Veterans Administration – Must show their “Service Connected” VA card.
Note: Customers with a Medicaid card do not receive a half fare.
Register your Paradise Pass Account with Half or Reduced Fare
Paradise Pass users can register their account as half/reduced far by emailing: PTdiscount@pbcgov.org or visiting the Palm Tran Central County Facility at 1200 S. Congress Ave., Palm Springs, FL 33406.
Transportation Disadvantaged is a program available for persons who are unable to transport themselves or purchase transportation due to disability or income status.
Customers must qualify to purchase the discounted TD Bus Pass. Proof of household income, legal status and photo ID must be submitted to Palm Tran Connection. This information will be verified prior to certifying current customers or enrolling new customers in the TD Bus Pass Program.
Those approved for the Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) can purchase 31-Day Fare Passes for $15 or $20.
You must submit one of the following current forms of Proof of Legal Status to continue receiving a monthly bus pass.

If client is under the age of 18 he/she must provide their parental/legal guardian’s income information. Parent must be present.
Transportation Disadvantaged eligibility must be renewed once every year.

Failure to provide Palm Tran Connection with this information on your next visit will result in your immediate suspension from the TD Bus Pass Program until the correct information has been provided and recertification has been completed.
