Procurement Process

Palm Tran follows the purchasing policies and procedures established by Palm Beach County. Procurement methods include:

Informal and Formal Solicitations (Request for Quotes, Invitations to Bid, Requests for Proposals)
Cooperative Purchasing through approved contracts
Sole Source and Emergency Procurements as allowed by law
All vendors must comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including those set forth by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
