Palm Tran has several convenient park-and-ride locations for riders to utilize. There is no additional charge to park in one of these lots. Yes. Palm Tran fixed-route buses and Go Glades vehicles have bike racks on the front of every bus as a part of the “Bikes on Buses” (B.O.B.) program. There is no additional charge, and no permit is required. Buses cannot accommodate mopeds, gas or battery-powered motorbikes or scooters of any kind, or tandem bicycles. Buses run 7 days a week, serving more than 2,700 bus stops from Jupiter to Boca Raton and west to the Glades. Generally speaking, weekday peak service runs every 30 minutes, off-peak service runs hourly, and weekend service runs hourly on most routes.
An unlimited 31-day pass costs $70 (or $55 for reduced-fare eligible passengers) and can be purchased at the Intermodal Transit Center and Palm Tran Connection. You can also purchase a $70 unlimited 31-day pass at all Palm Beach County library system branches and the Florida Atlantic University Owl Card Center in Boca Raton. Regular full fare (single trip) is $2.00, half fare is $1.00 (for eligible passengers), and children age 8 and under ride free with a fare-paying passenger. An unlimited daily pass costs $5 or $3.50 reduced.
