Ron Jones is Palm Tran’s Interim Senior Manager of Paratransit, with responsibility for the day to-day operations of Palm Tran Connection. He oversees sixty Palm Tran Connection employees, managing program administration, eligibility, reservations, scheduling, dispatch, and contract compliance. Additionally, he oversees two prime contractors with over 300 vehicles and more than 500 employees.

Mr. Jones has 35 years of experience in paratransit operations, starting in 1990 as a paratransit driver in Brevard County, Florida. With over 20 years of service at Palm Tran, Ron joined the organization in 2003 as the Assistant Director of Palm Tran Connection, holding various roles within the department before being promoted to Senior Manager in 2025.
