Travel Training

Learn to Ride with Confidence

Navigating public transit doesn’t have to be intimidating. Palm Tran’s Travel Training Program is here to help you feel confident and comfortable using our fixed-route bus system.

Whether you’re a first-time rider, a senior, someone with a disability, or simply looking for guidance, our Travel Trainer will walk you through every stop – from planning your trip to arriving at your destination.

What We Offer

Palm Tran’s Travel Training is a free service that teaches individuals and groups how to use the bus system in Palm Beach County. Sessions are customized to your needs and available in several formats:

  • One-on-One Phone Support – Ask questions and get guidance from our Travel Trainer.
  • Virtual Sessions – Learn how to plan a route, read a schedule, or use transit apps from the comfort of your home.
  • In-Person Training – Visit our South County office for a hands-on experience.
  • Group Sessions – We partner with community organizations, schools, and agencies to provide on-site group training.

Our Travel Training program is open to:
