Palm Tran Fixed Route Service Improvements
Effective May 17, 2026
MAJOR UPDATES:
- Route 71 will be replaced by Route 4, which will now extend to the Boynton Beach Mall, serving stops previously served by Route 71.
- Route 2 will now be extended to provide service to Palm Beach International Airport.
Detailed Changes:
Route 1
- On Saturday, running time adjustments to improve on-time performance
Route 2
- Alignment modified to serve Palm Beach International Airport
Route 3
- Running time adjustments to improve efficiency and on-time performance
Route 4
- Extended to the Boynton Beach Mall, replacing existing Route 71 alignment on Lawrence and Gateway
- Northbound alignment modified to remain on Lawrence between Hypoluxo and Lantana
Route 10
- Stop #1732 eliminated (Central Blvd at University)
Route 33
- Australian/Blue Heron timepoint relocated to stop #2288
- Running time adjustments to improve efficiency and on-time performance
Route 44
- Running time adjustments to improve efficiency and on-time performance
- Will no longer service stop #849 – Australian at Belvedere (Route 2 only)
- On Sunday, departure times shifted by 30 minutes
- First eastbound trip leaves Vista Center at 9:14 am, Last eastbound trip leaves Vista Center at 5:14 pm
- First westbound trip leaves the ITC at 9:10 am, Last westbound trip leaves the ITC at 6:10 pm
Route 47
- South Bay end of line moved to stop #5054
- Pahokee timepoint relocated to stop #4839
- Last trip times adjusted to improve transfer times with inbound Route 40
Route 61 (Weekday)
- 6:15 am westbound trip recovery time reallocated from Cresthaven/Military to Riverbridge
Route 71
- Route eliminated and replaced by Route 4
Route 91
- Alignment modified to remove service from Weinberg House
- Minor running time adjustments to improve efficiency and on-time performance
Port St Lucie Express
- Timepoint added at Quadrille/Clematis
- The PM Southbound trips will go straight to the Intermodal Transit Center from Port St. Lucie without serving the Banyan/Quadrille bus stops
- Stop 105 (Fern St) replaces stop 614 (Evernia St)

Route 46:
- Westbound trips will start at stop #369 (Dixie Hwy at Alhambra Pl).
- Stop #370 (Dixie Hwy at Summa St) will be eliminated.
Route 62:
- The last Westbound trip will now leave Lake Worth Beach at 9:05 PM on weekdays.
