Palm Tran is an Equal Employment Opportunity Workplace and is committed to following the guidelines of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Federal Transit Administration, the State of Florida, and Palm Beach County.
Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits employment discrimination, harassment, or retaliation based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. It applies to private employers, labor unions, and employment agencies, covering all aspects of employment, including hiring, compensation, promotion, training, and termination. It also requires employers to make reasonable accommodations for an applicant or employee whose sincerely held religious belief, practice, or observance conflicts with a work requirement, unless providing the accommodation would create an undue hardship for the employer.
The ADA requires employers to provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities, ensuring they can perform their job duties, unless doing so would create an undue hardship for the employer.
Any candidate for employment or employee who believes Palm Tran has discriminated against them can file a complaint. Palm Tran takes all complaints seriously and ensures a fair and thorough investigation.
