Barbara Cipriano
Barbara Cipriano is the Provost at Palm Beach State College, Lake Worth campus, and the WPB historic building. An experienced leader with over 27 years in education, Cipriano was born in Poland, grew up in New Jersey, and became a first-generation college student, earning her BBA at St. Peter’s University and M.S. in Higher Education Administration from Barry University. Cipriano has worked in both private and public environments including the city of Hollywood, Broward College, and Fortunoff, SSD, NY. Her strong background in economic development incorporates business with academics, adding valuable perspective in college operational efficiencies. She is actively engaged with community partners to support the success of students, identifying opportunities for collaboration through partnerships, and creating flexible and responsive environments catering to the needs of the workforce. A Leadership Palm Beach County graduate and a certified program planner, Cipriano currently serves as a Trustee of the Boca Raton Police Foundation and the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches.
