Raphael Clemente is the Executive Director of the West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority, or DDA. He joined the DDA team in 2006, bringing with him a multi-disciplinary background and years local knowledge. Raphael has guided the DDA team to some noteworthy successes. These include the recruitment of dozens of new businesses to the downtown area, the formation of the West Palm Beach Arts and Entertainment District, securing hundreds of thousands of dollars in grant funding for public projects, the implementation of the City’s first bike share program, public art programs that produced nearly 30 large-scale murals in downtown, and spearheading efforts to combat the impact of COVID 19 on local businesses.

Raphael holds master’s degree in Urban Planning from Florida Atlantic University’s Center for Urban and Environmental Solutions, and he is a member of the Abacoa Partnership for Community Board of Directors, and the Florida Downtown Association Board of Directors.
